Poster Title: Modeling and Optimization of Biomass Handling Systems

Poster Abstract: Three biomass handling systems were analyzed to determine the costs associated with harvest, transport, and unloading. The three systems included a loose biomass system, a round bale biomass system, and a large square bale biomass system. A model implementing these three systems is optimized to cover the maximum acreage while maintaining a set cost. The optimized system will represent a minimum cost handling scenario to transport biomass from field to processing plant.
